Vourvourou beach is the thin sandy coastline bordering the village of Vourvourou that stretches for several kilometers. The beach is divided into parts and is often integrated as part of hotel property. Most people who use this beach are guests of the local hotels. The exception to this rule is on the northern end where there are boat rentals, this is more of a public beach.
Organization on this beach is usually done by the hotel that owns the property behind the beach. The sun-beds are normally only for the guests of the hotel. Other than this, there is some public beach organization on the northern part by the boat rentals.
The sand is normally soft sand along with occasional pebble. The water is shallow and good for families with small children. The only caution is that there are many boats along this beach so parents should use good judgement and pay attention to the safety of their children.
