All Blue Flag Beaches in Agios Nikolaos

On we have listed 20 beaches with this designation. There is also a ‘Blue Flag’ marina in Sithonia. In 2021 Greece had 545 ‘Blue Flag’ beaches, which placed in 2d position among 50 countries. Of these ‘Blue flag’ beaches in Greece, Halkidiki has the largest number of any municipality with 96 ‘Blue Flags’.

‘Blue Flag’ is a prestigious, international award system which acts as a guarantee to tourists that a beach or marina they are visiting meets the standard as one of the best in the world.

The title is awarded to beaches that have attained to the highest quality of water, facilities, safety, environmental education and management. Over the years it has acted as an incentive to many beach managers to improve the quality of the coast.
