Elia beach is the beach of what is called the Elia coast, about a 2 km long stretch of coastline on Sithonia’s western shore. Some parts of the Elia coast have a low cliff with pine trees hanging out over the beach giving shade in the morning as an escape from the heat of the sun.
The Elia coast has many hotels that also claim their section of beach and give it some organization with sun-beds. Some hotels have restaurants and beach bars on their property for their guests. Many parts of the beach are also void of organization and you can often find a lonely part for yourself.
The beach has a sand/pebble mix and the water looks amazingly clear due to the pebble sea bottom. The water is shallow and good for children but swimming shoes are recommended in parts.
