Vathi beach is south of Neos Marmaras in an area that is off the beaten path. This beach is not recommended as a beach wheкe you would want to come and relax, but has a good boat launch and perhaps not a bad swimming spot.
The beach has no organization except for the boat launch and you will find boats anchored in the bay. Because of the lack of people and activity in this bay, it looks like a good snorkeling option.
The beach is a mix of sand and pebble. The sea-bottom is also mixed and if you decide to go swimming we highly recommend you bring swimming shoes.
What’s great about Vathi Beach
Quiet bay with calm water good for swimming or snorkeling.
And what’s not…
No organization. Beach itself isn’t good.
After the Porto Carras property line, you turn right off the main Sithonia road and head south to the coast. When the road divides, go left and follow this to Stiladario beach. At Stiladario turn right, in about 200 m you will come to Vathi beach.
