The Spalathronisia camping beach is part of a camping site in this seldom visited part of Sithonia. These two beaches are narrow sandy strips that are well shaded by trees that grow just meters from the water. Ones who know about this beach don’t want to give the secret away too easily and if you are not a guest of the campsite beware of the owner who just may chase you away.
The beach is not developed and is left natural for guests to put up their own umbrella. The campsite has a restaurant and mini-market where you can get food and drinks.
The beach has a pleasant soft sand and the water is a mix with sandy parts and rocky areas so be careful and use swimming shoes. Because of the small islands off shore it creates a sheltered bay and a good spot for canoeing and snorkeling around the islands.
What’s great about Spalathronisia camping beach
Isolated location and thus very quite and relaxing. Good snorkeling and swimming in the lagoon. And what’s not…
Restricted access to the beach. After Porto Carras resort driving south to Toroni, turn right to Hotel Saint George. Follow the road to the coastline and drive until you reach the campsite. If you are not a guest of the campsite, you have to find the small public path to the beach and not go through the campsite.
