Spalathronisia is an isolated part of Sithonia just south of Neos Marmaras. Here are several beaches and islands that make a small archipelago, which is something unique on the western shore of Sithonia. The Spalathronisia beach is a small beach with a pier for boats to dock. Tourists come here from Kassandra on day trips and to eat at a local taverna just behind the beach.
The beach is not organized but there is camping and in the area and some apartments where tourists can stay.
The beach itself is a mix of sand and pebble and is just a narrow ribbon and not really a beach that you would drive out for. The sea-bottom has rock shelf and sand so if you decide to swim, bring swimming shoes. This is also a good place for snorkeling and diving and some come here for spear-fishing.
What’s great about Spalathronisia Beach
Isolated part of Sithonia that is left natural. The archipelago offers good snorkeling and canoeing. The taverna attracts people from afar. And what’s not…
Not a good beach and the water had rocks. After the Porto Carras property line, you turn right off the main Sithonia road and head south to the coast. Early on, the road divides, take the right road and follow this straight to the coast. At the end of the road, turn left and you are at Spalathronisia beach.
