Likithos beach is a small cove that is the beach for the Likithos village. Nestled against a cliff, here you will get a view of the Cyclades in Halkidiki with a white washed hotel and cobblestone sidewalks. This place is a very isolated part of Sithonia south of Neos Marmaras.
The beach is not big enough to have much organization and there is no need since the cliff will give afternoon shade over the entire beach. The neat feature is the real Greek style beach bar that sits above the beach offering a wonderful view.
The beach is made of fine sand and the water bottom is sand and pebble and gradually gets deeper, so it is also good for children. The water is amazingly clear and it is a good snorkeling spot. Many sailboats anchor off the shore and take advantage of the calm protected waters.
What’s great about Likithos Beach
Cute sandy beach with a great beach bar. Clean water that’s good for snorkeling. And what’s not…
Small and access is only through the hotel. After the Porto Carras property line, you turn right off the main Sithonia road and head south to the coast. Early on, the road divides, take the left road and follow this straight to Stiladario beach. From here follow the road right, you will pass Vathi beach. Continue around the shoreline for about 100 m and you will come to Likithos Village.
