Metamorfosi beach is a chain of beaches that mark the beginning of the Sithonia peninsula. The main ‘Blue Flag’ beach is in the village of Metamorfosi, but as you continue moving west there are many smaller organized beaches that are part of hotels or organized by beach bars. These are all considered the same beach.
The parts of Metamorfosi beach that are organized by the hotels provide sun-beds and umbrellas, beach bars and restaurants. The village of Metamorfosi also has shops, mini markets and restaurants.
These beaches are mainly a mix of sand and pebble and the water is clear and good for swimming. There may be rocks in places so bring water shoes. There are lots of pines along the beach giving a good aroma.
