Hike: Toroni – Destenika beach – Paradise beach – Toroni
Walking time: 4 hours (11 km round trip)
Elevation: 170 m
Starting the hike in Toroni, this walk will bring you along the full length of Toroni beach, from the south going north. It finishes at a hidden beach, that is not accessible by roads. Paradise beach is not listed or marked on the maps by name, but the locals know about it. You will pass some of the best beaches in all of Halkidiki on this tour, such as Destenika, which is a long sandy beach with few people. The destination beach, because it is not accessible by car, is often used by nudists for camping.

Head north towards Neos Marmaras until you come to a point on the beach. To the end of the beach will be a little over 1.5 km. Yes, it’s a long one.
1.5 km Point on Toroni beach
Get on the coastal road and follow it to the next beach called Destenika. There is a small restaurant on this beach. It’s just over half a kilometer from the point.
2.2 km Destenika beach
Keep following the road north till you join the main road going around Sithonia. Follow this road north. The first road going left goes to Tristinika beach, which is a beautiful beach with few people and a beach bar. But to get to Paradise beach you need to take the second road left (the one after Tristinika). You follow this road towards Aretes beach. You now start to climb on the dirt road.
When you reach the highest point on the road, turn left to a trail that isn’t marked. Follow this and you will come to a fence. Go in the direction of the fence and you will see stairs going down to the beach, this is Paradise beach. (From Destenika to Paradise is a little over 3 km.)
